We are thrilled to welcome back Marcia Miquelon to lead activities at our kids tent Saturday afternoon, August 6.  Marcia is director of the Wild Rumpus Circus Camp and will engage young festival-goers with activities such as hooping, juggling, feather balancing, acrobatics, and more…  Dance, music and circus arts make a perfect accompaniment to our own “Big Top!”

Since 2002, the Wild Rumpus Circus Camp has been offering kids ages 7 and up the chance to explore stilt walking, trapeze, acrobatics, clowning, juggling, tight wire walking, pantomime, physical theater, circus history and more! The camp promotes confidence and cooperation through action, emphasizing focused development of circus skills while having fun together. Whether the skill at hand is balance, coordination, strength, flexibility or creative expression, students gain self-esteem, learn valuable lessons about teamwork and tolerance, and develop their physical and mental agility.
