This 328-acre park has three shelter facilities, the Lussier Heritage Center, a fully-accessible camping area, group camping area, play equipment, a barrier-free boat launch with a fish cleaning facility, wildlife pond, over-look tower, hiking and cross-country ski trails, and the Native American Archaeological Trail.

Camping

RUSTIC SITES: A limit of (50) 2-day camping permits, located just steps aways from the festival grounds. These are "rustic tent sites"--no electrical hookups nor running faucets are available at these sites. Car parking is not included in the cost of these camping tags. In an effort to maintain the quality of the rustic park area, the number of cars parked near the camping area will be limited, neither "canned music" nor pets are allowed, and fires are strictly limited to existing concrete rings. One tent per permit. A permit holder will receive a sticker at the gate for one tent. Check in starts at 2:00 pm Friday Aug 1, 2008.
For more information, contact FLTMC by phone 608/227-8685. Advance reservation highly recommended. Permits strictly enforced.

CAR SITES: Lake Farm County Park has a newly developed, fully-accessible campground with 54 sites including 39 electric hook ups for RVs (50 amp), bathroom and shower facilities, and a sanitary dump station. These car camping sites are accessible to the festival grounds by a short drive or nature walk, either less than one mile. Most of these sites have their own fire ring, and courtesy via reasonable curfew is expected. To reserve a car camping spot, contact Dane County Parks Camping Reservations line at 608/246-3896. Advance reservation highly recommended. Permits strictly enforced.
